Grief is part of the human experience, yet it’s something with which we are personally and, as a society, very uncomfortable. We try to hide from grief, avoiding it altogether if possible. If you’ve struggled to process grief in the past or dread the day you’ll need to deal with it, today’s episode will help you understand grief so you can navigate it more easily.

Sweta Vikram is a dedicated doctor of Ayurveda, a globally renowned speaker, and an acclaimed author of 14 bestselling books. The goal of Sweta’s work is to alleviate stress and elevate the quality of her clients’ lives, specializing in addressing disordered sleep, anxiety, digestion, appetite, and mood. Sweta’s Ayurveda-based approach gives us a unique perspective on grief, and she’s here to help us understand the grief experience.

Tune in this week to understand how grief is seen through the lens of Ayurveda and learn about the six (not five) stages of grief. We’re discussing why we naturally want to turn away from grief and how we can instead start navigating grief with more grace for ourselves.

The upcoming retreat in Guatemala is less than two months away! Almost last call – send me a DM on Instagram or an email at erika.belanger@gmail.com to reserve your spot today.

What You’ll Discover:

  • Why there are no manuals for navigating grief, especially when surrounded by others going through grief.
  • Why nobody is immune to grief, as it extends beyond the death of a loved one.
  • Some situations in which you may experience grief that you probably never considered before.
  • Why every person processes grief differently, even if they’re grieving the same loss as you.
  • The loss of identity that often occurs in grief.
  • How Ayurveda can help you gain awareness of your own grief while understanding the grieving journeys of others.
  • The sixth stage of grief that helps us find more meaning in the losses we’re grieving.
  • Some tools Sweta recommends you lean into when navigating your own grief journey.
