A strong core is not about bikini season, and a core workout is not a post-Thanksgiving punishment.
A strong core stabilizes the body and allows you to move in all directions with more control and less injury risk. Whether you’re flowing through a vinyasa or mopping the floor, all necessary movements either originate in your core, or move through it. So, in turn, weak or inflexible core muscles can impair how well your arms and legs function in mobility and strength. This sturdy central line of the body connects your lower and upper body allowing you to balance as well. In short, your core affects everything you do.
